New Rigs Rolling into the New Year
Dynamic Transit Fleet

Safety is our top priority. Keeping our tractor fleet young is crucial to a smooth operation. Reliable trucks and the highest caliber people allows Dynamic Transit to deliver exceptional service for our customers. Our fleet of late model Peterbilts sets us apart from other carriers in the industry. Ask our drivers and they’ll confirm that we provide some of the best equipment on the road.

We are as excited about the New Year as we are about the 50 new Peterbilt 389 tractors that will hit the highways in January 2017.

Everyone in trucking today knows it costs big bucks not only to acquire big rigs but to keep them running.

Interesting facts:

  • Filling a big rig’s gas tank is equivalent to filling 18 mid-size cars
  • Dynamic trucks have fuel tanks that hold 250 gallons of diesel fuel
  • Long haul drivers average 115,000-155,000 miles per year at Dynamic
  • The cost of running one big rig could be more than $200,000 per year

Drivers:

Having a young fleet is important because there are fewer mechanical issues, more up time, the newer models are more comfortable, safer, and have newer technology.

Our Maintenance and Shop Team are experts in managing the maintenance of our fleet. Our team sees to it that our fleet is fine-tuned, from updating technology (transportation management systems, satellite tracking & communication systems) to preventative maintenance, routine tune-ups, engine repairs, tire rotations, mechanical upgrades on all tractors and trailers.

Customers:

As an asset-based carrier, we offer a different value proposition to our customers by having more control over capacity, enhanced service to our customer and more visibility into the movement and operations of our vehicles. We want our customers to relax and know that the transportation segment of their business operates just the way they want it to.
