Dynamic Transit Announces Plan to Increase Driver Pay 20% and adds Holiday Pay

Dynamic Transit increases pay starting March 2022

Granite City, March 11, 2022 – Dynamic Transit announces its plan to increase pay for company drivers effective March 2022, boosting 20% for its over-the-road truck drivers.

And that’s a lot – far more than the current inflation numbers facing the U.S.

The company has maintained a top pay scale for several years since it announced two pay increases in 2018. With inflation on the rise, increasing regulations, and demands for qualified drivers, the company has announced it will start drivers with X endorsement at 65 CPM and 60 CPM for drivers without endorsements.

The owners, Fred and Michele Khani, have always believed in giving drivers the best compensation, equipment and work environment.

“As the changes in the economy challenge America’s workers, this is something that is the right thing to do is to invest in our workforce, the hard-working men and women that deliver our goods,” Michele Khani said.

She said that with the new pay scale, drivers entering Dynamic will hit the job with the opportunity to make around $78,000 to $115,000 per year without endorsements. With X endorsement, drivers can expect to make around $85,000 to $125,000 in the first year.

The way that the pay is structured is meant to reward team members with tenure with the company, as well as compensate drivers with high productivity with mileage bonuses. About every year, drivers get a raise that caps at raise number five.

“But what do you expect? We work for Dynamic. We’re always taken care of,” says Mark Brown, an eighth-year driver with Dynamic Transit who will be paid 70 CPM after the raise goes into effect, the top of the pay scale.

On top of the pay increases, the company also added holiday pay to its compensation for drivers. Six of the major U.S. holidays will now pay drivers $200 per day, whether they work each respective holiday or not. This adds an additional $1,200 flat compensation across the board to every driver employed by Dynamic Transit.
