It’s Driver Appreciation Week
Here at Dynamic Transit, we’re always thankful for our drivers. They’re the face of our company all day, every day as they travel the country working hard for our clients. Today, however, has us feeling a little extra thankful–it’s Truck Driver Appreciation Week! This week is sponsored by the American Trucking Associations and calls on everyone to recognize every driver’s hard work.
Why we celebrate drivers.
It’s tough to overstate the importance of truck drivers. Each day, more than 3.5 million drivers hit the road to deliver everything from food to gasoline to consumer goods. Everything around you, at one point or another, was transported by a truck driver. As one of our co-founders, Fred Khani, says, “Truck drivers are the gears of our economy. Everything we take for granted depends on their work.”
Why we love our drivers.
Give us enough time and we could list a hundred reasons why we love our drivers at Dynamic Transit. But today, we’ll focus on just a few reasons they deserve your appreciation not only this week but also throughout the year.
Their passion.
Our drivers love what they do–and that makes all the difference. Many of our drivers have been trucking for decades and know this industry inside and out. They often have great ideas and know a bad one when they see it. Their passions and experiences are at the heart of our driver-first philosophy and key to our success.
Their hard work.
We firmly believe that Dynamic Transit’s drivers are a cut above the rest, and it’s one of many reasons we take such good care of them. Their incredible work ethic pushes them to go the extra mile for our clients time and time again–and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Their sacrifice.
Trucking isn’t an easy job, and it certainly isn’t for everyone. As co-founder Michele Khani says, “Over-the-road truckers leave their families at home and go to work not knowing where they’ll sleep that night or what obstacles they’ll face along the way.” That sacrifice is just part of the job for truck drivers, but it’s one that should never go without thanks.
